This year, Angelia was the sponsor of SB 8, a commons sense protection conservatives have tried to get passed for almost a decade. ​
​
SB 8 prevents biological males from entering women's restrooms, locker rooms, changing rooms, or other private spaces, regardless of what gender a man chooses to call himself that day.
​
Angelia defended SB 8 on the House Floor against a barrage of Democrat attacks, and passed this bill to protect the dignity, safety, and privacy of Texas women and girls.

Where We Ban China
from Owning Our Land!

This year, we passed many bills to protect Texans from foreign adversaries like China. Here are just a few:

SB 17 – Bans foreign adversaries from owning farmland and other land in Texas.

HB 128 – Eliminates any sister city agreements between Texas cities and foreign adversaries. Before this bill cities like San Antonio and Dallas had these agreements with Russian and Chinese cities.

Senate Bill 1349 – makes it a crime for foreign governments to intimidate or harass people in Texas and sets up a new training program to help law enforcement handle these situations.

Where We Stand for Life!
This year, we passed the following bills to protect the unborn. Texas is leading the nation in pro-life protections!

HB 1806 - Stops Texas cities like Austin and San Antonio from using taxpayer dollars to fund abortion travel.

HB 7 - Cracks down on Out-of-State Abortion pills.

SB 31 - Clarifies pro-life laws, requiring ongoing education for physicians, and helps prevent liberal activists from undermining Texas' pro-life protections.

SB 1207 - Adds adoption education to public school health curriculums.

Where We Protect Faith
in Our Schools!

This year, Angelia was the sponsor of SB 10, a commonsense measure to put faith back in Texas classrooms.

SB 10 requires the 10 Commandments to be displayed in every Texas classroom, giving students a reminder of God’s presence and the guiding principles that founded our nation.
​
Angelia and her team personally donated hundreds of posters to schools in HD 13 and delivered them to ensure students have access to these important reminders every day.

This year, we passed the following bills to defend Texas children from radical indoctrination and give parents more tools to protect their children.

SB 13 – Parents get access to library catalogs and local advisory councils

SB 12 – Bans gender transitioning and DEI lessons in schools

SB 2420 – Regulates harmful apps for kids and puts parents in the driver’s seat

SB 20 - Makes it a crime to have or share sexual images that involve children, even if they're animated or computer-generated.

SB 412 - Closes a loophole, stopping schools and other from showing explicit content to kids just by calling it "educational."

SB 14 (Passed Last Session) - Bans gender transition surgeries for minors, preventing irreversible harm.​​
