As a co-author of House Bill 2, Rep. Orr helped secure an estimated average of $4,488 per student for the ISDs in House District 13 for the 2026-2027 Biennium.
​
This is funding that will be used for critical education resources such as new textbooks, updated lab equipment for science classrooms, technology upgrades, fine arts programs, special education, and smaller class sizes by hiring more teachers, among other things.
